What is experience? If a horse shoer shoes 4 horses a day with six nails to a shoe, that's 98 nails a day, 1950 nails a month, 18,900 nails a year. Let's see, I have been shoeing horses since 1970. 27 years x 18,900 = 510,300 nails driven. Then there are the trims, the bad horses and the clients who swatted horseflies when I was under a hind leg. 510,300 nails! What a monument to a mis-spent life.
